Description
The Andre Sobel Award is available to cancer survivors who are residents of the United States. To be eligible, you must write an essay of 1,500-words or less on the topic: "What I Needed to Know When You Were Ill: Notes From Someone Who's Been There". Your entry can be written as an essay, short story, letter, email or other written format. Survivors of another critical or life-threatening illness may also apply.
