Description
The Newton County Single Parent Scholarship is available to residents of Newton County who are the single heads of households and are pursuing a vocationally-oriented course of study. You must be a high school graduate (or equivalent), a low-income person, and the recipient of or in the process of applying for a Pell Grant to be eligible for this award. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required if currently attending school. Three letters of recommendation and a statement of your goals are also required.
