Martin-Thacker Scholarship

Description

The Martin-Thacker Scholarship is available to graduate students enrolled in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky. You must be in the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling to qualify for this award. Preference is given to students with a certified disability who are from rural areas and are committed to careers in the rehabilitation of developmentally disabled adults in rural areas. Recipients must also agree to serve for a minimum of two years in a rehabilitation facility/program that services individuals with developmental disabilities in rural Kentucky.
