Description
The Federal Law Enforcement Foundation Scholarship is available to the children of qualified, full-time agents of federal law enforcement agencies and supporting law enforcement services. This includes state and local officers who are assigned to federal joint task forces based in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and jurisdictions in which FLEF is qualified. This scholarship is also offered to children of federal law enforcement and State and local law enforcement officers in the greater metropolitan area who were disabled or killed in the line of duty. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for this award. Selection is based on SAT/ACT scores (if taken), academic achievement, above average community service, recommendations, and extracurricular activities.
