Description
The Newberry Juneteenth Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors in Newberry County, South Carolina, who have been accepted to an accredited higher education institution. To be eligible for this award, you must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and demonstrate community and/or school participation. Selection is based on two letters of recommendation and a 500-750-word essay explaining why Juneteenth is important to you and to our society.
