Description
The Sandy Lane Scholarship is available to outstanding LGBTQ students and allies residing within Fannin, Gilmer, Lumpkin, Towns, Union or White counties in Georgia. To be considered for this award, you must plan to attend, or currently attend, a postsecondary institution or vocational/technical school. Selection is based on an academic transcript, two letters of recommendation, and a personal essay describing how you have supported LGBTQ people in your school or community as well as background and future goals.
