Equality Florida Public Policy Fellowship-PAID

Description

The Equality Florida Public Policy Fellowship is available to students who have an interest in civil rights and policy or politics, possess strong organizing and event planning skills, are comfortable speaking with a diverse audience, and have video conferencing capabilities. Preference will be given to applicants with legislative experience. As an intern, you will work with department staff to advance and defend LGBTQ policy. This primarily includes supporting advocacy at the Florida Capitol, including assisting with Lobby Days at the Capitol event, legislative research and tracking, and managing Equality Florida’s engagement in various coalitions. You may also assist in local policy organizing campaigns. This internship is offered in Tallahassee, FL.
