The Sterling Scholar Award is available to full - time entering freshmen at the University of Utah who are residents of Utah. Recipients are chosen from the pool of winning students from each of the following regions: Wasatch Front*, Northeast Utah, Central Utah, Southeast Utah, and Southwest Utah.
