Description
The Edward D. Hendrickson/SAE Engineering Scholarship available to incoming juniors and seniors pursuing an engineering or related science degree through an ABET accredited program. You must be a US resident, provide two (2) Letters of Recommendation - one (1) that focuses on academics and one (1) that outlines involvement in extra-curricular activities or employment, and will detail current/future industry trends that are most important to them and how their desired career path could make the greatest contribution to industry to be eligible for this award. Special consideration will be given to those who plan to pursue a career in the Commercial Vehicle Industry (ie: studying areas such as electric & autonomous vehicles, connectivity & data, predictive maintenance, improved fuel efficiencies, and on-highway emissions standards for heavy-duty vehicles)
