Description
The TMC/SAE Donald D. Dawson Technical Scholarship is available to students pusuing an engineering or related science degree through an ABET-accredited program. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.25, provide two (2) Letters of Recommendation - one (1) that focuses on academics and one (1) that speaks to involvement in extra-curricular activities or employment, and demonstrate evidence of some type of hands-on automotive experience or activity in areas such as rebuilding engines, working on cars or trucks, tractor repair or working with drones (UAV Challenge, for example), robotics (FIRST, VEX) and coding to be eligible for this award.
