Description
The Bobbiejo Lazo Scholarship is available to senior high school and undergraudate students. As a high school students you must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher; Home Schooled students must have an SAT at 1000 or above; Undergraduate students minimum GPA of 2.0, residents of Hopewell, Petersburg, Colonial Heights, Prince George County and Fort Lee, submit letter of recommendation from three sources, demonstrate financial need; and community through volunteer service with an emphasis on military service and patriotic causes to be eligible for this award. Priority may be given to citizens who are the child or grandchild of a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 637, or the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 637 Auxiliary.
