Birmingham Promise Scholarship

Description

The Birmingham Promise Scholarship is open to residents of Birmingham, Alabama. You must be attending one of the 25 public two- or four-year colleges in Alabama, complete the FAFSA, and follow the normal college admissions process and be accepted by the school you have applied to in order to receive tuition assistance from Birmingham Promise. This scholarship will be applied once all sources of public funding at the federal (Ex: Pell grant, work-study, and FSEOG) and state (Ex: Alabama Student Assistance Program) level have been applied to a student's account. This scholarship covers any gaps in tuition and mandatory fees after all public funding has been used.
