Description
The Ninth Circuit Civics Contest is open to high school students in Alaska, Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Northern Mariana Islands, Oregon, and Washington. To be considered, you must submit a 500 - to 1000 - word essay or three - to five - minute video discussing the United State Supreme Court’s 1954 landmark decision in Brown v. Board of Education and its impact.
