Description
The Helios Education Foundation First Generation Scholarship is available to students at Daytona State College. You must be first generation, permanent resident of Florida, take the “Student Success” course (SLS 1122) in the 1st year of study to meet the requirement of enrolling in the “Life Skills Course” to be eligible for this award. Preference given to students preparing for a career in education, with the intent to become a teacher in the state of Florida.
