MTM Pharmacy Intern

Description

The MTM Pharmacy Intern is available to current enrolled students in an accredited school of pharmacy having completed at least the 5th year of the pharmacist program. Intern duties may include assisting the pharmacist in filling prescriptions and serving customers. Confirm which drugs are covered and recommend possible generic substitutes. Maintain proper inventory levels and records, store drugs at correct temperatures and keep controlled substances suitably secured. Preference given to current Intern/Extern License as granted by state licensing agency with experience working in a retail pharmacy or hospital to considered for this internship.
