Description

The Gilbert Matching Student Grant Program is open to undergraduate students who are legal residents of Massachusetts. You must be a dependent whose source of support is a parent who has been a permanent resident of Massachusetts for 12 months prior to the opening of the academic year; or an independent student who has been a permanent resident of the Commonwealth for the twelve months immediately preceding the opening of the academic year. You must also be a U.S. citizen or eligible non citizen, not have earned a bachelor's or professional degree or equivalent, and not be in default of a Federal or state education loan or owe a refund on any previously received financial aid. Additionally, you must demonstrate financial need, maintain satisfactory academic progress, be enrolled full time, and attend an eligible institution in Massachusetts to be eligible for this award.
