Description
The Five College ABD Fellowship Program is open to minority graduate students in the final phase of their doctoral degree. While the emphasis is on completing the dissertation, fellows may be expected to teach a single one-semester course within the hosting department. Applicants must attend Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke,and Smith Colleges or the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. The award also includes office space, a research grant, health benefits, housing assistance and library privileges at the Five Colleges.
