Description
The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of White County Scholarship is open to residents of White County, Arkansas. You must be a single head of house hold (single, legally separated, divorced, widowed) with primary physical custody of a minor child and be a high school graduate or equivalent. Also, you must be pursuing a vocationally oriented undergraduate course of study full or part time to ensure a better standard of living for your family, with the exception of those pursuing a master's degree in teaching. You must also qualify as low income at or near the poverty level, apply for a Pell Grant, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be eligible for this award.
