Description
The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Lafayette County Scholarship is open to students who are residents of Lafayette County. You must be a single head of household (never married, legally separated, divorced or widowed) with legal custody and the sole responsibility of one or more children under the age of 18 and be a high school or GED graduate. Also, you must be pursuing a career-oriented course of study full or part time at an accredited institution to ensure a better standard of living for your family. You must also be receiving a Pell Grant, qualify as a low income person at or near the poverty level, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be eligible for this award.
