Description

The Dibner Library of the History of Science and Technology Resident Scholar Program is open to historians, librarians, doctoral, and post- doctoral students conducting research in a topic related to the history of science and technology. You must describe in detail how you intend to use the collections of the library. The library collections' strengths are in the fields of mathematics, astronomy, classical natural philosophy, theoretical physics (up to the early twentieth century), experimental physics (especially electricity and magnetism), engineering technology (from the Renaissance to the late nineteenth century), and scientific apparatus and instruments. You must be in residence for the duration of the award period.
