Description
The J. Paul Getty Trust offers Conservation Guest Scholar Grants for professionals to pursue scholarly research in areas of conservation, with an emphasis on the visual art. Professionals are eligible to apply for residency (3 to 9 months) at the Getty Research Institute. A monthly stipend of $3,500 is awarded up to a maximum of $31,500. The grant also includes workspace at the Conservation Institute, research assistance, airfare to LA, housing, and health benefits. Selection is based on your qualifications, your past achievements, how your project would benefit from the resources at the Getty, and how your project would contribute to the advancement of the conservation field.
