Walters Art Museum Conservation Internship-PAID

Description

The Walters Art Museum Conservation Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students at least 18 year of age with a demonstrated interested in STEAM careers. Preference will be given to undergraduate students who are residents of Baltimore City or County or whose colleges or universities are in Baltimore City or County. To be considered for this internship, you should possess strong Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and communication skills. As an intern, you will work on two long-term projects in collaboration with the conservation scientist: first, to develop protocols for object sample naming, storage and documentation; second, to create a reference database to improve the identification of pigments and other artistic materials. This internship is offered in Baltimore, MD.
