Smithsonian National Zoo - Human Resources Internship

Description

The Smithsonian National Zoo offers a Human Resources Internship to students who are interested in the field of human resources management. You must be currently enrolled in a college or university, have strong computer, interpersonal, written, and organizational skills, and enjoy working outdoors. The internship usually lasts 12 weeks, but the actual session will be determined by the intern and supervisor. Duties may include assisting HR office with daily operations, assisting with administration of benefits, updating and maintaining personnel files and forms, responding to inquiries from employees and the public, and tracking and sorting resumes and applications.
