Marine Mammal Internship - National Aquarium in Baltimore

The Marine Mammal Internship is available at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. You be interested in providing support to the marine mammal training staff. This position is focused on mammal care and training theory, there will be limited hands-on animal contact during the internship. You will be responsible for the animal's daily diets and the cleanliness of the back-up areas as well as assisting in training, husbandry and medical sessions. You must be a college junior or senior studying life science, psychology or a related field and have a basic understanding of marine mammal natural history. You must also be a good swimmer and be able to lift 50 pounds to qualify for this position.
