Description
The UnitedHealth Group Nursing Internship is available to students who are enrolled in an accredited RN bachelors degree program with graduation anticipated within 12 months of the internship. To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess a Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preference will be given to applicants who have a minimum GPA of 3.0, have knowledge of clinical terminology, and are excellent oral and written communicators. As an intern, you will gain hands on experience in areas within the nursing field outside of hospital bed-side patient care. During the experience you will get exposure to patient care needs through the healthcare continuum, enrichment opportunities such as the UHG Corporate Headquarters Experience, Day in the Life of a Nurse Series, Enterprise Foundations, networking, and student cohort connections.
