Speed Art Museum Finance Internship

The Speed Art Museum Finance Internship is open to students who are majoring in accounting, business, museum studies, or related fields. To be considered for this internship, you should possess high attention to detail and professionalism, have experience with Microsoft Office, and have strong communications skills. As an intern, you will perform work related to finance, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, daily cash receipts, reconciliations and other clerical and administrative work of the business office function.  You will receive experience synthesizing that information to assist in the reconciliation, month-end and annual audit preparation. In addition, you will receive instruction in accounting, professional development opportunities, and gain an understanding of the full scope of work that is involved in museums. This internship is offered in Louisville, KY.
