The American Cancer Society Tobacco Control Research Internship is available to students majoring in computer science, data science, or a related quantitative field. to be considered for this internship, you should have experience with data analysis in a public health environment and possess excellent computer programming, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in project development and implementation related to tobacco control research, learn skills for scientific research by conducting data analyses, present analytical results to both internal and external collaborators, contribute to drafting research proposals and manuscripts, and perform other scientific activities under the supervision of senior researchers. This internship is offered remotely or in-person in Washington, DC, or Atlanta, GA.
