Office of Senator Tim Scott Internship-PAID

The Office of Senator Tim Scott Internship is available to junior and senior-level undergraduate and to graduate students of any level. This program is open to all majors, however, preference will be given to applicants majoring in governmental affairs, public policy, communications, and related fields. Selection is based on a resume, references, and statement of interest. As an intern at one of the three South Carolina offices, you will take an active role in the community, working on state-based projects while also answering phones, completing research, and being an integral part of day-to-day office operations. As an intern at the Washington, DC, office, you will research legislation, attend congressional hearings and briefings, assist with press tasks, answer phones, and help manage correspondence on various issues. Internships are offered in the fall, spring, and summer.
