City of Albuquerque Pathway to Public Safety Internship-PAID

Description

The City of Albuquerque Pathway to Public Safety Internship is available to students 18 and older who are interested in exploring a career in public safety. This program will provide participants with training and work experience to prepare them for careers such as police service aide, police officer, firefighter, and community safety responder. Interns will earn college credit at Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) as they learn criminal justice procedures and first aid skills. Training will be paired with work experience at Albuquerque Police Department that will demonstrate various career pathways in public safety.
