Kauffman Center Facilities Management Internship-PAID

Description

The Kauffman Center Facilities Management Internship is available to students in the Kansas City, MO, area who are majoring in facilities management, architecture, interior design, engineering, or construction science. To be considered for this internship, you should be flexible, dependable, detail-oriented, self-starting, and possess excellent communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with facility operations, facility software, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and emailing. As an intern, you will coordinate and help plan facility operations for the Kauffman Center’s annual Future Stages Festival, shadow engineering projects and maintenance, and complete annual furniture, fixtures, and equipment inventory. You will also utilize facility maintenance software, learn facility custodial scheduling and procedures, attend planning meetings, and process invoices and account coding. This internship is offered in Kansas City, MO, during the summer, fall, and spring semesters.
