Description

The Boulder County Public Health Generations Cohort Leader Internship is available to junior and senior-level undergraduate students and graduate students of any level who are pursuing a degree in Anthropology, Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you should be culturally responsive, have an understanding or experience working with youth culture, and be comfortable talking about sexual health. Additionally, you should have a reliable vehicle and good driving record. Preference will be given to applicants who are bilingual in English and Spanish. As an intern, you will support the participating youth in practicing and developing leadership skills and assist them through their projects to create change in their local communities. You will gain valuable experience in facilitating youth groups through a social justice approach to youth engagement. This internship is located in Boulder/Longmont, CO, and runs for one year.
