Sierra Club Military Outdoors Internship-PAID

Description

The Sierra Club Military Outdoors Internship is available to applicants who are interested in working with military families in an outdoor setting. You must have enthusiasm for connecting self and community to nature and have an understanding of working with military, veteran, and veteran family populations to be considered for this internship. Additionally, you must have strong organizational skills and be able to work in a team environment. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working with underrepresented populations in outdoor settings/environmental organizations, outdoor program risk management, grassroots organizing, and are proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database management. As an intern, you will work with volunteers and staff to recruit, organize, and train Military Outdoors participants and leaders, create inclusive spaces that center BIPOC participants and volunteer leaders in SCMO, develop advertising communications, assist the director in program development, and join outings. This internship is located in Los Angeles, CA.
