Description

The Oculus Optical Scientist Geometrical Optics Internship is available to students pursuing a PhD in optical science or engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field. You must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have two+ years experience in geometrical or illumination optics and with scientific programming languages to be considered for this internship. As an intern, you will develop next generation AR/VR display prototypes with an emphasis on both modeling and prototyping of the new concepts, collaborate with the larger Facebook reality labs team to explore novel solution space for AR/VR devices, and explore the application of at least one of the following – wave optics, stray light/ghost analysis, or geometrical optics design. This internship is located in Redmond, WA. Average monthly compensation for a Meta Intern is $8,000.
