Description

The Oculus Research Scientist Machine Learning And Perception Internship is available to students pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, Physics or related field. You must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have experience with C++/Python and deep learning frameworks to be considered for this internship. Additionally, you must have experience in one or more of the following: machine learning, perception, information theory, 3D geometry, 3D reconstruction, graphics, tracking, Bayesian inference, optimization, system building, physics-based simulation. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in cutting-edge research in photorealistic reconstruction of scenes, objects and materials, neural light field reconstruction, inverse graphics and related rendering approaches, object shape embedding/detection/tracking, and high fidelity human/object pose estimation. As an intern, you will research and develop ideas that extend the state of the art, perform analysis and improvement of efficiency, accuracy, scalability and stability of currently deployed systems, design and implement algorithms, and develop and analyze prototype experimental systems. This internship is located in Redmond, WA. Average monthly compensation for a Meta Intern is $8,000.
