The Acres Land Trust Intern is available to students pursuing a degree related to natural resources are preferred. You must have the ability to perform light construction, a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation, ability to maintain confidentiality and use appropriate judgment in handling information and records, ability to work accurately with attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment as well as independently to be oconsidered for this position. As an intern, you will be tasked with trail maintenance, construction and installation of visitor amenities such as benches, boardwalks, and small bridges, assisting with restoration activities, performing invasive species management, development of management plans for preserves, marking boundaries and various other tasks related to natural resource management.
