Description
The Giant Springs Intern is available to undergrad or graduate students with majors in parks and recreation management, environmental education/science, education, natural sciences or natural resources. You must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written) and be comfortable speaking to large groups of people and self-motivated and comfortable working unsupervised, be able to hike for distances of up to 5 miles and be able use GPS units to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will assist visitors in the Ranger Station by collecting fees, answering questions and informing visitors about the history/geology of the springs and surrounding area.
