Sea Turtle Inc. Conservation Intern-PAID

Description

The Sea Turtle Inc. Conservation Intern is available to students with a great interest in field conservation and must be extremely comfortable working in adverse weather conditions at irregular hours. You have must have education or experience in environmental science or marine biology, ability to perform daily field work in high heat and humidity environment, and desire to learn to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will work with our conservation team to patrol, excavate, relocate, and protect sea turtle nests. Interns will also participate in overnight shifts to assist with sea turtle hatching activity and conducting ATV patrols 4-5 times per week in adverse weather conditions including high winds, direct sunlight, high heat, and humidity.
