The State Fiscal Policy Research Intern is available to recent graduates or graduate students with major/coursework in economics, public policy, public administration, or public health. You must have experience in policy analysis, data analysis, or public finance, strong quantitative skills and experience working with Excel, and strong interest in CBPP mission a must to be considered for this position. As an intern, your tasks may include: tracking budget and tax developments in states, summarizing research on tax and budget issues, performing data analysis in Excel using government and other datasets, and attending briefings and events on topics of interest.
