Description
The Sea Turtle Center Care Internship is available to senior-level undergraduate students and to recent graduates of a program in biology, zoology, animal science, or related fields. To be considered for this role, you should be detail-oriented, professional, and demonstrate interest in environmental conservation, rehabilitation, or wildlife biology. Additionally, you should be able to carry up to 50 pounds and work with tools. As an intern, you will learn about and participate in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of native sea turtle species. You will assist staff in all aspects of the daily care of sick and injured sea turtles, occasional medical procedures, and educational programs. This internship is offered in Charleston, SC.
