The Pixar Studios Animation Internship is available to junior and senior-level undergraduates and graduate students who are majoring in animation, illustration, film or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you should demonstrate a deep understanding of traditional animation principles and have a demo reel showing your application of the principles to tell a story with meaning through movement. As an intern, you will experience firsthand “a day in the life of a Pixar Animator." Through the extensive 12-week, classroom-based animation training course, animation you will work in collaboration with mentors to use proprietary animation software and acting skills to work through a set of assignments, gain knowledge of the production pipeline process, and attend animation dailies.
