Description

The International Political Economy Internship is available to undergraduate or graduate students, majoring in international relations, international political economy, international finance and economics, or related field. To be considered for this internship, you should possess excellent research, editing, and proofreading skills. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office. Preference will be given to applicants who speak Chinese or Japanese. As an intern, you will conduct background research, literature reviews, and data collection for current/ongoing international political economy (IPE) projects. You will also track Chinese port projects related to China's Belt and Road/Maritime Silk Road initiatives (including location, operational status, and equity ownership), conduct research related to international political economy, write posts for the Asia Unbound blog, and attend general council meetings. This internship is offered as a hybrid position in New York, NY, or on a fully remote basis.
