The J. Paul Getty Trust offers a Graduate Education and Research Internship for graduate students who intend to pursue careers in fields related to the visual arts. You must be currently enrolled in a graduate program leading to an advanced degree in a field relevant to the curatorial internship, or have completed a relevant graduate degree since June 2002 to be eligible. The duration of the internship is 8 months beginning in September. Participants work full-time and are award a $17,300 grant, health benefits, and an educational travel allowance. Education and research interns take part in work that focuses on museum education, professional education of conservators, provenance research, or public programs.
