- The Hopwood Scholarship is awarded to full-time entering freshmen at Lynchburg College. You must be the valedictorian or salutatorian of your graduating class, or have an SAT score of at least 1100 with a minimum GPA of 3.50; an SAT score of at least 1250 with a minimum GPA of 3.0; an SAT score of at least 1190 with a minimum GPA of 3.25; or an SAT score of at least 1250 with a minimum GPA of 3.00 to be eligible for this award.
