The American Prospect Writing Fellowship is open to young journalists. You must submit a 10-15 page critique of a recent issue of The American Prospect, two written recommendations, five writing samples, three to four story ideas for the magazine, your resume and college and/or graduate school transcript. Each fellow will write between three and four full-length articles with the expectation that these will be published in the Prospect. Recipients will receive a stipend for living expenses and the program runs for two years, normally beginning in September.
