Ballard Breaux Visiting Fellowship

The Ballard Breaux Visiting Fellowship at the Filson Historical Society is available to Ph.D. or doctoral students who are interested in all aspects of the history of Kentucky and the regions of the Ohio Valley and the Upper South. You must be at the dissertation stage of your studies to be eligible for this award. This fellowship provides funds for a one month fellowship in residence to encourage the use of research collections at the FHS to develop and research dissertations. Partial support is available for students residing in Kentucky who travel from beyond the greater Louisville area.
