Description
The Plains Regional Medical Center-Portales Auxiliary Endowed Scholarship is upperclassmen at Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU). To qualify for this award, you must be planning to pursue a career in a health-related field, have completed 28 credit hours by the effective date of award, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrated commitment to the field of study. Preference will be given to residents of Roosevelt County or descendants of historic Roosevelt County families and/or current or previous employees of Plains Regional Hospital-Portales. You must also submit a letter of application outlining your educational and career experience as well as your future plans, a list of past and current activities related to involvement within the health field, scholastic record and record of work experience in a health field. A brief statement in the your handwriting explaining reasons for applying and expecting to qualify for this scholarship is requested as well. This award is renewable.
