If you want to practice for college entrance exams, there’s an app for that. Brush up on a classic novel? There’s an app for that. If you want to learn how to star gaze like an astronomer, play music like Beethoven or brush up on scientific theory, there are even apps for that. The best part? They’re all free. Here are some of Fastweb’s favorite free applications that are useful for students of all ages.

College Test Prep ACT Student: Includes free versions of short practice exams.
The Official SAT Question of the Day: Prep for your college entrance exam daily with SAT prep materials and quizzes.
SAT Vocab Cards: A great SAT prep application for students looking to enhance and reinforce their vocabulary skills.

Creative Arts How to Draw (Free Lessons): Draw and sketch like one of the greats with this free app and its step-by-step instructional.

English Audiobooks: Nearly 6,000 classic literature are available for free on your iPhone or iPad. This app really needs no explanation. It includes a dictionary and a thesaurus, plus it’s free and doesn’t need web access to function.
