Description
The Greene County Single Parent Scholarship is available to residents of Greene County who are single heads of households and responsible for the care of minor age children. You must be a high school graduate (or GED recipient) who is pursuing an undergraduate course of study at an accredited post-secondary institution with a minimum 2.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. You must also be a low- income person and a recipient of or currently applying for a Pell Grant. Additionally, you must not already hold a bachelor's degree. Recommendations and a personal statement explaining why you chose to continue your education is also required.
