Description
The LA-STEM Research Scholars Program is available to high school seniors who intend to major in a STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics) discipline at Louisiana State University. You must have a minimum ACT/SAT score of 24/1100 and a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. You must also demonstrate involvement in mentoring or tutoring and community service. Recipients of this award will participate in success courses, service projects, leadership opportunities, social programs, study groups, undergraduate research and mentoring.
