The San Jose State University School of Library and Information Science Award is open to graduate students at San Jose State University who are enrolled in the Southern California Program of the School of Library and Information Science. You must be a resident of Orange County or be employed in an Orange County library. You must also have completed the core courses with a grade "B" or better, be in good standing with the SLIS Program, and may not have any outstanding incompletes to qualify for this award. Selection is based on academic achievement, number of classes completed, quality of essay and engagement in the library and information science community. This scholarship is awarded on even years.
